What to do right nowKnocked-out tooth: handle it by the crown (not the root), rinse briefly in milk or saline, and if you can, place it gently back in the socket — otherwise keep it in milk. The first 30–60 minutes matter most.
Severe toothache: rinse with warm salt water and take your usual pain relief. Never place aspirin directly on the gum. Facial or jaw swelling: call us immediately — swelling can become serious quickly. If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, go straight to the nearest hospital emergency department. Broken tooth or lost crown: keep any pieces, avoid chewing on that side, and cover sharp edges with sugar-free chewing gum or dental wax. |

Call (02) 8384 6667 and follow the instructions on our message. For severe swelling, uncontrolled bleeding or trauma, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
